Overview
A duet for two eyes, just one at a time. Shot on a 1952 Stereo Realist and on a consumer 3D video camera made 70 years later. Hand processed, each eye numbered, taken apart and rebuilt a frame at a time. Made by hand. Sung at a distance. “The Happy Sunny Side of Life” (1936) counter melodies against despair.

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A hypnotic meditation on time and technique where obsolete and contemporary cameras are literally deconstructed and rebuilt frame by frame. Vintage optimism clashes beautifully with modern despair in this handmade experimental work.
