Overview
Filip buys an 8mm movie camera when his first child is born. Because it's the first camera in town, he's named official photographer by the local Party boss. How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A Polish factory worker's discovery of filmmaking becomes both an awakening and a quiet tragedy, as his passion for art pulls him away from the people he loves and into the compromises demanded by his communist state. It's a tender, thoughtful film about the cost of creative ambition.
