Overview

Noma, a hikikomori, orders something every day from Aeri's Shop, a secondhand goods seller online — all for the handwritten note tucked into the package. Aeri's notes alone are enough for him, and on them he builds a love that grows misshapen. The day after Aeri calls him by name for the first time, a package arrives that isn't what he ordered.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A quiet, aching story about connection built on fantasy and the fragile boundary between intimacy and delusion. It unfolds like a love letter written backwards, until the ground shifts beneath you.
