Overview

Belgian trams, French and British capital, German factories, Mennonite settlers from Prussia: the industrial heart of today's Ukraine was once deeply European. In Soviet times, this history vanished from collective memory. Eurokryvbas digs it up again, while war is being waged in the very same places today.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A documentary that traces hidden European fingerprints in Ukrainian industrial cities, uncovering layers of history deliberately buried under Soviet rule. It's a meditation on contested heritage and survival, set against the present shadow of war.
