Overview

Pertiwi returns to her hometown after spending two decades in prison to rebuild her life. There, she finds power in things that have been abandoned: discarded electronic devices that mysteriously light up and a community of outcasts living on the fringes of society. But coming home also means confronting the four men who sent her to prison and now rule the village. Together with the outcasts, Pertiwi begins to uncover the darkness that still haunts the place - and the past she thought she had left behind.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A woman returning to her village after prison confronts the weight of past trauma and community rejection in a fog-shrouded landscape. This is a slow, unflinching meditation on reclaiming power and redefining what home means when the familiar world offers only coldness.
