Overview

After centuries of colonization, the dry forests of the Gran Chaco are devastated and on the verge of disappearing. As the Wichí people try to navigate a present marked by mechanized violence and exploitation, the birds of their territory have begun to sing with unusual intensity. Blending fantastical satire and ethnographic experiment, the birds speak to anyone willing to listen.

A poetic documentary that transforms environmental devastation and indigenous resilience into an urgent message delivered through bird song: a blend of ethnographic observation and magical realism that asks you to hear what the land itself is trying to tell us.
