À minuit les enfants s'éteignent

Overview

A secluded seaside hamlet, in the middle of summer. The church bell strikes midnight. Ambre, a young lesbian who hasn’t come out yet, has only 24 hours left before she blows out her 18 candles and seals her union with David - the man she is betrothed to, as required by the customs of her Caribbean community. But in the morning, Adrielle’s arrival turns all her certainties upside down.
