Overview
Null Adjustments follows the repair of the Buchla 100 at the Library of Congress, an early modular synthesizer built by Don Buchla for composer Morton Subotnick, who used it to create Silver Apples of the Moon. Shot on 16mm film and employing optical printing techniques, the film pays homage to the instrument’s emergence in the 1960s and showcases its continued playability today.
