Overview

In a lake high in the mountains of New Zealand, hunter Gibbie Gibson discovers a plane wreck from WW2. When word gets around, a gang of crooks turns up and threatens him and his daughter, because they know there is 50 million dollars of gold in the wreck. Gibbie, his partner and helicopter pilot Barney, and his daughter Sally, are caught up in a race for the Yankee Zephyr.
