Overview

New Yorkers Skip Donahue and Harry Monroe have no jobs and no prospects, so they decide to flee the city and find work elsewhere, landing jobs wearing woodpecker costumes to promote the opening of a bank. When their feathery costumes are stolen and used in a bank robbery, they no longer have to worry about employment — they're sent to prison.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

Two lovable misfits find themselves on the wrong side of the law through sheer bad luck, and their attempts to survive and escape prison become a vehicle for irreverent comedy and genuine camaraderie. It's a lighthearted romp that doesn't take its premise seriously and doesn't ask you to either.
