Overview
Bruno Stroszek is released from prison and warned to stop drinking. He has few skills and fewer expectations: with a glockenspiel and an accordion, he ekes out a living as a street musician. He befriends Eva, a prostitute down on her luck and they join his neighbor, Scheitz, an elderly eccentric, when he leaves Germany to live in Wisconsin.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A picaresque odyssey through the margins of the American Dream that finds dark comedy in desperation. Stroszek moves like a ballad, episodic and fatalistic, finding strange beauty in the lives of society's misfits as they chase a promise that America may not keep.
