The Burden

Overview

Follows trail runners as they take on a 42.1km trail run across the West Pennine Moors, carrying a 20kg sandbag between them — a physical representation of the weight of poor mental health, and the importance of sharing it. The film explores grief, male mental health, community and what can happen when people are willing to carry some of the weight for each other.
