The Tree Keepers

Overview

The Isle of Arran is home to three tree species found nowhere else in the world, including the Catacol Whitebeam, of which only a single recognised wild specimen exists. For decades, amateur gardeners Henry Murdo and Margo McLellan have dedicated their spare time to cultivating and protecting these rare trees, ensuring their survival against the odds.
