Overview

Light is motion, motion is time, time is a bird. Repetitive, seasonally cyclical process of recording Icelandic webcam screenshots, this time focusing on the light monsters that through camera lenses and glass fibres travel great underwater intercontinental distances. Visually encoded in this film is the message, "There is no valid reference frame in which light is at rest."

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A meditative visual essay that watches light travel across Icelandic landscapes through webcam images, collapsing the boundaries between natural observation and technological mediation into something quietly profound.
