Biography

Born in 1969, Paulo Biscaia Filho is a Brazilian theatre and film director. He graduated as a Theatre Director and holds an M.A. in Drama and Theatre Studies from Royal Holloway, University of London, where he developed a study on the horror of the Grand Guignol theatre. He also earned a Ph.D. in History from the Federal University of Paraná. He is a professor in the Performing Arts and Film programs at the State University of Paraná (UNESPAR). He is also the founder and artistic director of Vigor Mortis, a stage and video production company established in southern Brazil.
