Giorgos Tsemperopoulos

Giorgos Tsemberopoulos is a Greek director, producer and screenwriter. He was born in Athens. He studied economics at the Athens University of Economics and Business, while working as a photographer. He studied directing at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, where he lived and worked until 1981. In 1987, he founded Filmiki Productions SA in Athens, where he produces commercials and directs feature films. Former member of the Board of Directors of the Hellenic Film Center, founding member of the Association of Film Directors/Producers, former member of the Board of Directors of the Thessaloniki Film Festival, member of the Board of Directors of Greenpeace Hellas.
