Biography

Alex studied Fine Art Photography at Sir John Faculty in London. During this period, he exhibited work in shows at Festival Hall and Hayes Galleria and was published in The Observer and trade magazines. After working on television shows and short films, Alex shot his first feature film Asylum in 2003. Since then, his work as DOP has spanned many genres: features, commercials, documentaries and comedy dramas. In 2020 he was Director/Cinematographer for 'A Song for the Future'; featuring asylum seekers playing indigenous instruments alongside the WNO players and singers.
