Karen Suzane is a Brazilian filmmaker, director, and screenwriter who has quickly become one of the most exciting new voices in contemporary Latin American cinema. A graduate in Cinema and Audiovisual Studies from the Federal Fluminense University (UFF), Suzane spent years honing her craft through powerful, socially conscious independent shorts and documentaries. She gained widespread recognition as the co-director and creative force behind the acclaimed GNT documentary series Negro Muro (2023).
