Philipp Yuryev

Philipp Yuryev (Russian: Филипп Юрьев; born 15 January 1990) is a Russian filmmaker. He graduated from the "VGIK" (Russian State University of Cinematography) directing department in 2011. His first student film, THE MORNING WITH DIFFERENT EYES (2008), won several prizes at international film festivals, including São Paolo IFF and Abu Dhabi IFF, as well as Montreal and InterFilm Berlin. His next short film, THE MODIFIED LANDSCAPE (2009), was shown at CineGlobe IFF (Geneva) and received a special mention and special jury prize for best cinematography at the Saint Anna student film festival in Moscow.
