Woodlene originally moved to New York City to pursue a career as an elementary school teacher through the New York City Teaching Fellows Master's Program. As anything can happen in the Big Apple, and she found herself occasionally attending casting sessions thus beginning a journey in entertainment as a New York City model. She is featured in major national and international print and commercial campaigns such as Coca Cola, Disney, Amazon, IBM, Starbucks, and Remy Martin to name a few.
