Joshua Liam Henderson

Joshua Liam Henderson is a non-professional actor who made his screen debut in Óliver Laxe's critically acclaimed 2025 dystopian drama Sirāt. To achieve a sense of documentary realism for the film, which follows a desperate father searching for his missing daughter amidst a nomadic rave community in the Moroccan desert, Laxe and his casting team street-cast actual members of the rave and free party scene. In real life, Henderson is an active part of the rave community and works on post-festival cleanup crews, spending days restoring natural sites after the parties conclude.
