Felipe Cuartas Moreno

Felipe Cuartas is a Colombian visual artist, screenwriter, and cinematographer based in Leipzig, Germany. He recently completed a Master’s degree in Media Art at the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar. Raíces, his graduation short film, shot on 16mm, will have its international premiere in the Official Competition of the Sitges Film Festival. As a Director of Photography, he develops visual systems that support the dramaturgy and emotional language of each story. His approach to image-making is shaped by an interdisciplinary background in graphic design, art history, and literature.
