Marcus Lacey

Marcus Lacey is an American writer, director, and producer based in Las Vegas, Nevada. He made his directorial debut with the independent short film Absolution (2026) a psychological drama exploring themes of faith, guilt, redemption, and the tension between belief and certainty. Influenced by character-driven storytelling and grounded visual filmmaking, Marcus is drawn to stories that examine moral conflict and the complexities of human relationships. He is committed to creating independent films that emphasize authentic performances, strong atmosphere, and emotionally honest narratives. Absolution is the first chapter of his filmmaking career as he continues developing original projects for film.
