I've been brushing this film off for a long time. At first, the concept didn't appeal to me, and I laughed it off as I expected it to land in the final pages of Tubi's horror library... until today. Thanks a lot, Netflix.
Browsing through Netflix, this film was front and center (trending), so I said, "Sure, why not." I was expecting a terrible film with no plot, terrible dialog, and an even more terrible closing. To be honest, there were plenty of pain points throughout, but it was not terrible.
I can give a synopsis here of the entire film (I won't), but I have to share that many of the steps that these characters take in trying to secure their lives were creative, and I have to give credit to the director(s) and (writer(s) for developing ways that the characters can possibly survive various scenarios.
My one big complaint: The priest or holy person. Why? Were there no serious actors available? Did no one say, "Hey, maybe he shouldn't be a comedian?"
Overall, I gave this film a 3 out of 5 rating. If you see it, add it to your queue. It's a fast watch, even if it's in the background.
