Dave Chappelle: The Dreamer

<i>The Dreamer</i> is not as strong as his previous effort, <i>The Closer</i>, but it’s a decent entry into his standup filmography.

Chappelle owns the stage, whether it’s big or small, and commands the attention of the room, which he receives. His delivery and stage mannerisms are what help most of his jokes flow from one to another, keeping us glued to our seats or screens. Sure, buttons are (purposely) pushed, but that’s comedy and Dave has the controller.
