What can go wrong in a film that celebrates Halloween during the summer months? In short, the answer is this film, which tries its best to be a <I>Terrifier</i> knockoff.

Between bad acting and lame kills, as well as every single terrible decision made by each character, especially a police officer who should know better, you actually root for the clown to put everyone (and us) out of their misery.

If you're looking to pass time, <I>Summerween</i> is fine as a background watch, but don't expect anything new to the clown horror genre.
