an over sentimental film with a lead performance that bores me to tears.
is ron howard a real director or was he made in a lab to make films that dumbasses love? literally WTF IS THIS DOGSHIT???
brown tint does not equal good cinematography and the story itself at first present itself as a film about a seemingly autistic man but smart man but then flips the script and he's schizophrenic. on paper that sounds interesting but when you think about how portraying our protagonist from autistic to schizophrenic, its not the most ideal story yet even without it, its twist is boring.
its over sentimentallity hits a new low as sweeping sad and dramatic music is heard under multiple scenes. the score is so drab, same with everything else. ron howard shoots his films as dull as possible and russel crow gives a performances so hamfisted and boring that it becomes like watching a rock trying to move.
