maybe if we'd kill humanity, then the world would get peace.
its an interesting thought, do we deserve to be wiped from existence?
we wouldn't be the first species but maybe if we did all get killed, the world would find some sort of peace and the fact it will never have that is tragic. godzilla essentially is nature, it is earth in a metaphorical sense and in a sense this film and godzilla ingeneral has a lot in common with the ideology of frankenstein or at least the 1930s film.
we as a species don't let him rest, we want to get rid of him yet we continue to bother him creating an endless cycle of distruction.
we have to show who is top dog, sacrifices or not. we would take that chance because we can't fathom being lower in the food chance but in the end we have to come to terms that there are other beings on this planet and we have to coexist. also baby godzilla is finally a good character.
