While its pretty funny sometimes, hoppers lacks focus on both its cast and themes.
As a film about environmentalism its fine but I more so have issues with the cast. Jerry is the offender as he's kinda 1 dimensional and doesn't get a full 3 structured arc.
American animation needs more downer endings, of course they won't but it being a kids movie doesn't make it better. Yeah, tell kids that even evil and corporate bussines folk are actually good deep down inside.
As for the rest of the cast, they get good lines but they aren't in anyway memorable characteristically and George, like Jerry presents a flawed view on aspects of the world and the rest are forgettable.
Mable is the only one with a distinctive personality yet the problem they present is her anger which im confused by.
Why is that her character arc when clearly in both societal structures, she is the one to get certain things done because of it.
Maybe if you are making a kids film you should stick to appropriate themes for your kids movie.
