i actually really like this film as christophe gans directs this film so well, i will say the performances aren't that noteworthy, they are fine but other then that return to silent hill feels like something so weird and nightmarish yet focused at the same time on the need to let go of people we love who passed away.
james ultimately killed her but i see it more as an action out of love but that love also is unable to make him let go and makes him run back to the past.
the cinematography is great, while im not a big debater girl on digital vs film, here, the digital film making seems to be bright yet dark. its scares are well done and the composition and camera angles let the film flourish with its horror.'
definitely still some dodgy cgi but most of its still good.
