a misguided love letter to stunt men and women which i do apreciate but the script is so bafflingely dumb and shit.
i thought, hey, let me watch another recent gosling outing to see if he maybe does have some range but really, this, project hail mary and to an extend, barbie have him playing similaire characters with similaire comedy. jody and colt are not real human beings and they are children who can't think about something for one second.
like their conflict is so stupid. "omg my boyfriend almost died and didn't speak to me but i also didn't contact him at all" STOP FUCKING WHINING PLSSSS.
YOU ARE BOTH FUCKING CHILDREN!!!
the stunts are good and i do like its commentary on how stunt men are overlooked in the industry but it feels very thin without anything substantial supporting it. ryan and emily give decent performances while the other performances are just mediocre.
