disgusting, perverted yet funny and captivating to watch.
while a lot of people may say its nothing but weird shit, under all that is a tale of a broken family stuck in violence and sex.
while it may not be entirely right for ME to say this as a 17 year old....but being sexual is very exhausting, violence is exhausting and this movie understands that. takashi miike is not interested in showing that or the concept of a dysfunctional family in a light way. we have to come to terms with the fact that some families are actually like this.
what i find most interesting is the way the film uses incest, the beatings and many other things to show that dysfunctionality and family under pressure in the modern day by suprisingly captalism.
a friend said that about this film and it makes sense imo sadly enough.
