I want to like Dark Phoenix, both as a Sansa fan and because it's the conclusion of the Fox X-Men franchise.
There are some good things. I like the scene in Genosha with Magneto and his crew, and I like the mutants vs mutants battle to kill or not to kill Jean. The part with the stairs is wild though.
The overall story felt pretty rushed though, and I think it would have been confusing if I didn't already know the story. It didn't really explain the Phoenix Force very well.
