This movie is so 90's that I almost can't believe it. The Homeward Bound/Adventures of Milo & Otis vibes are strong. If I was still seven years old, I would have recorded this into a VHS tape and rewatched it like crazy.
I'm older now though, so it's probably a one time watch for me. They switch up some things from the original, but I don't really care. It's a cute live action kids movie. The animals are cute, the spaghetti scene is cute, Janelle Monae sings. Not everything has to also appeal to adults.
