I appreciate The Birdcage's significance to the LGBTQ+ community and how progressive it was, especially as a major studio comedy. Nathan Lane is really great in this with a few especially moving scenes, and Robin Williams is also good, more subdued than his other comedy roles. They were the only characters I liked though, and I just didn't think it was very funny.
