The girl that plays Sara is a billionaire, and Wikipedia lists her occupation as heiress, so that's wild.
I loved this movie as a kid, and I always partnered it with The Secret Garden as sort of modern (at the time) live action fairy tales for kids in the 90s. It's not without its problems looking at it now. I still love it though.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A tender exploration of a girl's inner world under circumstances designed to crush it, where imagination and kindness become acts of resistance. The film moves between hardship and enchantment, trusting that a child's capacity for wonder can survive even when everything else is taken away.
