City of God

City god is maybe one of the most uncompromised films ever made.

Its violence is raw.
Its not flashy enough to take away the realities of it all.
From beginning to end, kids learn violence.
Its feels kinda like a virus in the film that spreads all around who comes in contact with it.

Its a really heavy film to take in because not allot is let to the imagination, its characters are rooted in blood and hatred, not all of them but the majority.
But then again i don't see any parents around besides one or a couple of scenes, they probably never had someone guide them threw whats wrong or right.
They all just...are on the street alone without any grownups.
The police also do very minimum but i think thats the point.
I mean its not like the police in real life are always that helpfull.
No one is save from the rage of guns, not even children.
