Overview

Some fishermen are attacked in the Louisiana swamps. When the word gets out of a mysterious Bigfoot-type creature, two researchers come to a small town to study and hopefully discover what the beast is. Their research from some farmers help the two men to learn that the creature may be a very angry and murderous missing link.

This isn’t a bad film, but it fails to cross the line to being a good one.
There are some brief moments that are legitimately creepy, but those moments are dashed by the two leads hamming it up. I feel like with a different cast this would have been a good little monster flick.
(It has Jack Elam in it, so there is that. It’s what got me to watch it in the first place)
