Overview

When a New York reporter plucks crocodile hunter Mick Dundee from the Australian Outback for a visit to the Big Apple, it's a clash of cultures and a recipe for good-natured comedy as naïve Dundee negotiates the concrete jungle. He proves that his instincts are quite useful in the city and adeptly handles everything from wily muggers to high-society snoots without breaking a sweat.

How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A good-natured romp watching an unflappable Australian outback adventurer bumble through New York City with charming confidence. It's fish-out-of-water comedy that celebrates differences rather than mocking them.

I'm surprised this is my first time seeing this, and I'm more surprised this is an Oscar nominee and Golden Globe winner. This is fine; it's an 80s comedy like a lot of other 80s comedies.
