How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A gorgeously surreal fairy tale where a princess flees her father's inappropriate desires by hiding beneath a donkey skin, complete with anachronistic songs and dreamlike set pieces. It's equal parts tender romance and unsettling comedy, rendered in vivid color and theatrical production design.

I really like Disney and their versions of classic fairytale....but they always seem to scrub off the weirdness of it all. And no, Alice and Wonderland is not the same weird im talking about.

Thats not like wearing a donkey skin rug weird. And ultimately thats what the titular donkey skin is about, it confronts how the fairytales we love ultimately in some form do have uncomfortable and that includes stuff like the topic of incest.
