One of johnny dep's best performances.
My favorite aspect of the film is the town accepting him(except for one person) but then hating edward the longer the film goes on.
I think its a good subversion of the trope of when a outcast gets in contact with a city of town but first hated but then beloved at the end of the film

Innocence is what he knows. Beauty is what she sees.

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A haunting fairy tale about an artificial boy who falls tragically in love with an ordinary girl, weaving Christmas magic with gothic melancholy and the painful impossibility of belonging. It's heartbreaking, visually poetic, and utterly unforgettable.

Reviews
I watched this while I handed out candy to trick or treaters. Edward Scissorhands is a childhood favorite, but can you imagine trying to explain it to someone who has never heard of it? I hope someday I get the chance.
I love a blonde Winona twirling in the snow.
