is it good?
no but is it the most batshit insane thing i have seen?
yes.
freddy vs jason is the best example of "you come for one thing and one thing only" and thats freddy fighting jason and i really love that part.
for as the other parts of this movie,there tone shifts allot where i just don't take anything seriously.
this is a movie only made for fans of freddy and jason,it does a good job to both characters even tho freddy can get a little bit to goofy at times.
the movie is just ridiculous in all the best ways,i want more horror like this where its just silly and goofy.
it does have allot of really dated cgi wich is really weird considering up until this movie,both of these franchises did practical effects just fine,hell even good.
so no this is not a good movie but i say its the venom 2 of the horror genre

The fights between the two are great,most of the kills are amazing but i dont know i dont think its as good as nightmare 3 or the friday the 13th remake
