How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A haunting, intimate kaiju film that treats Godzilla as an unstoppable force of apocalypse layered onto Japan's already-devastated postwar ruins. It's less about spectacle and more about ordinary people confronting obliteration with courage and community.

Visually, it does lose a little something coming off the big screen, but the emotional touchstones are still well in place.
Still one of the best G-films to date and a great film, period.
