How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A labyrinthine heist that unfolds across nested dreamscapes, asking whether you can trust anything you're seeing, including whether you can trust your own perception of reality by the end. Intellectually ambitious and visually stunning, it's propulsive enough to keep you guessing but patient enough to let ideas breathe.

the concepts nolan presents in his films are nothing but brilliant but there is always something that goes wrong and oh boy something does go horrible wrong with this one.

its not terrible...........but its also not good, the first half hour is really interesting and seeing the concept of going into dreams unfold before my eyes was really cool but sadly this film is not 30 min long.
it honestly becomes boring as hell because i don't like any of the characters besides dom himself(also why tf is his fucking name dom cobb???)
from a filmmaking perspective its really great but without that its kinda whatever.

When it ended, my son said it would be better if it had been maybe 15 minutes longer to allow for some more explanations, and I said, "WHAT?! IT'S ALREADY TWO AND A HALF HOURS!" So kudos to Inception for being 2.5 hours yet leaving a 14 year old wishing it had been 2.75 hours instead.

The visuals have aged really well.
