How It Feels

Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.

A vibrant, funny dive into the chaos of teenage emotional development as Riley's carefully-organized inner world gets turned upside down by new, more complex feelings. It's touching and genuinely hilarious, balancing heartfelt growth with the absurdist comedy of emotions bickering in her head.

In the first Inside Out, the emotions were the stronger half, and the Riley part was fine but secondary. In the sequel, I was more invested in the Riley story than the emotions overall, specifically once the core cast of emotions left on their adventure. There were some solid puns and jokes though. The sar-chasm.

Bummed Mindy Kaling and Bill Hader weren't back.
