maybe one of the greatest action comedy ever?
it beautifully blends slapstick and kung fu that results in great action and comedy.
the film has heart, its comedy doesn't overtake its story but rather compliments it, stephen chow uses it to create a universe full of character, whimsy but also stakes.
it has a lovely score, i will always love films that have a score thats reminiscent of classic chinese music(like the kung fu panda movies do)
this silly yet serious martial arts movie kinda blows me away with how perfect of a parody it is while still being a real martial arts film.great performance, the actors have comedic timing, good cinematography, good vfx, good action scenes, really what more can you ask for?
