Probably the most "gem alert" movie ever conceived.
Ridley's directions is both stylish but heartfelt and the editing is both wacky with its transitions and just great.
Obviously my Goat Nicolas Cage Kim Coppola is the mvp of the movie like every movie he's in.
His outburst this time strengthens his character and adds to the films depth.
The films twist, turns, comedic timing is all around well executed.Sam Rockwell bounces off Nicolas Cage really well and so does Alison Lohman which creates a strong trio of characters that have a purpose each in the story and all have a natural conclusion.
The way the film gives humanity to a con man but also let's him reclaim that humanity that he lost is so good.
The new trailer for the spider noir show got me in a cage-y mood.(Also watch my feature film https://boxd.it/cQ1mBp )

How It Feels
Read from this film's synopsis, keywords and credits, and used to work out what it sits beside.
A darkly funny con-man thriller that pivots from slick criminal scheming into an unexpectedly tender story about fatherhood and vulnerability. The film juggles sharp-edged humor with genuine emotional weight, all anchored by a protagonist whose neuroses are both the engine of his scheming and the obstacle to his redemption.

Reviews
So fucking good man,sam rockwell and nicolas cage are a pretty good couple, fuck that wife at the end
Nick cage x sam rockwell
I wasn't sure how rewatchable this would be, because once you know the ending, you KNOW the ending. Watching it with that knowledge though makes Alison Lohman's acting more impressive though. She really kills it.
I love Sam Rockwell, always.
