not that bad?

im impressed by the incredible production value, from the animatronic used for goro to the impressive sets that are infused with impeccable lighting. sure, the script is not amazing but its also not bad and it clearly has respect for the games and the fight choreography is really good.
genuinely, the blue's and red's used for lighting the film is great and makes the cinematography and action scenes all the more memoreable.
i do dislike the fact sonya blade is reduced to a damsel in distress in the end.

Just have to watch this ever 2 or 3 years.
The soundtrack is definitely the star, and when you get to all the fights it honestly gets a LITTLE tiresome. (It’s when I find I reach for the phone most often) but the first half of the film has some great little bits of dialogue and the three leads play off each other really well.

Theme song came up in the shuffle this evening and got me in the mood to watch the film.
This movie is still such a blast. I wish I had gone to see it in the theater back in the day. This soundtrack must have been amazing pumping out of that sound system!
