Not Okay

Not Okay starts with a trigger warning that it's about an unlikeable female protagonist. That is pretty funny.

Zoey Deutch leads as Danni, who lies about going on a writer's retreat to Paris to impress a guy she likes. She spends a week photoshopping herself into pictures from Paris for social media, and then some of the places she posted are bombed by terrorists.

The lie snowballs and leads her to pretend to be a survivor of a terrorist attack, join a survivors support group, and write an article about her experience. It is pretty wild, but as far as a movie about influencer culture goes, it's a decent watch.
