Past and Present

A haunting twenty-minute immersion into a São Paulo favela where a pair of sneakers becomes a vessel for neighborhood trauma and forgotten violence. The film moves with the weight of funk rhythms and unresolved ghosts, suggesting that past sins don't disappear so much as relocate within a community's collective consciousness.
